A 1910 log house on the river

The log building began in 1910 as a house for a Dryden Pulp and Paper manager. It was among the first homes in Dryden with electricity, gained a second storey in 1919, and passed to private owners in 1945. Dining and banquet service started in 1957. The property took the name The Riverview Lodge in 1977, with the dining room following in 1978 and the lounge in 1981. It is now part of the Northern Lights Ventures portfolio. A longer history is on the lodge site.
